After receiving my Visual Communication diploma from Temasek Polytechnic in 2015, I dived into my first job as a graphic designer and have not looked back. Four years later, seeking a broader perspective, I earned my BA in Psychology. Since then, I’ve been trying to approach design in a more informed and intentional manner. Today, nine years in, I am still learning and growing.
It has often been argued that substance should come before style. But what if both could be balanced? For this reason, I particularly enjoy branding and visual identity design, as I get to create compelling visual solutions for individuals and collectives with an equally strong purpose at their core.
I feel fortunate to be doing what I do – using design to translate a thought, feeling, or idea into tangible forms that we can see, touch, and hold. I believe the most meaningful design solutions communicate clearly, evoke an emotional response, and spur people to take purposeful action.
